Connect with the countryside

Intercultural encounter held in the Camps Elisis in Lleida. With this proposal, the Fundació Agricultors Solidaris set out to let everyone visiting the event discover the great cultural wealth of the newcomers who take part in harvesting in Catalonia. During the encounter various activities were held:

• Round table with entrepreneurial initiatives of experiences in Catalonia, Colombia, Ecuador, Morocco and Senegal (photo).
• Codevelopment prize-giving, with the Agents’ most outstanding initiatives.
• Rhythms of the world, with dances and songs from different regions.
• Fotoconnecta’t awards, with the most representative images of life in the rural world, seen through the eyes of newcomers (3 photo awards).
• Meals of the world. During the event, various associations offered typical dishes from the Maghreb, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and the Països Catalans.
