Project description:

Project recipients are the educators and social agents of educational centers. The operational objectives: Become aware, recognize and change some negative attitudes of professionals in relation to the migration phenomenon. Prevent attitudes and actions of racism or xenophobia among educators and schoolchildren. Describe an educational action that we can take in relation to immigration. Train professionals in intercultural mediation and bring the reality of the migratory phenomenon closer to the gender perspective. as well as to give professionals the “life stories” of immigrants.

Activities:

     

  • Phase 1. Promote the participation of educators . educators are future agents transmitting the causes and consequences of immigration and, sensitize and foster interculturality among schoolchildren in schools. Inform educators of the issue of Immigration and sensitize them to be transmitters and promote interculturality from the classroom.

  • Phase 2. Training of educators and agents involved in integration .   • Phase 3. Information in classrooms . Meetings with educators for information on program objectives, selection of participants, interested in preparing as transmitting agents with awareness activities. “Open days” to produce the multiplier effect that is intended to be achieved. Drawings, murals, photographic exhibitions, radio programs etc, on “interculturality and acceptance of diversity” from the classroom will be exhibited.
